How to clean

Hand wash recommended, preferably spot clean.

Weighted item safety

Weighted blankets and toys, while sometimes used for calming or sensory purposes, can pose a suffocation hazard, particularly for young children and individuals with certain medical conditions. The weight and design of these products can, in some cases, lead to entrapment or difficulty breathing, especially if used unsupervised or incorrectly.

Generally recommended to be less than 10-15% of their body weight. 

Babies are usually 8 pound= 3kg, so items should be less than 300grams

1year olds are about 9kg, so items should be less than 900grams

Some items on the market are 2-3kg. We specifically choice our weighted range to be safer for young children at only 450g-650g
