- Assessment and practice sheets for students
- Online learning and Game play for most topics*

These teaching kits include everything you need to teach Auslan as a LOTE.
Each guide including 2 years of material!
Auslan LOTE Guide volume 1 is written specifically for young students (K to 2) with no reading ability, with a teaching model based on play and song.
It focus’ on signs that are likely to actually engage and interest little learners and that can easily slot into the average K-2 day
The main goal is vocab building in raising awareness of the language through play.
Auslan LOTE Guide volume 2 Is written to be used in either grades 3-4 OR 7-8, with a blended teaching model (especially for primary school children) that has some formal/instructional lessons intertwined with interactive content and game play.
You do not need to have done LOTE 1 with high school students and revision and catch up is embedded in material for high school students.
The goal within these teaching years is not just vocab building but also to explore linguistic concepts and really embark on information exchange and communication.
Auslan LOTE Guide Volume 3 Is for use in either grades 5-6 OR 9-10, with a teaching model based more strongly on theory and complex communication.
Higher expectations are placed on High school years vs primary.
Story telling is used as a tool to bring together the almost 2000 word vocabulary taught so far, with incorporated grammar and linguistic concepts to deliver complex communication within a guided and evolving series of major works over the two years.
This edition, unlike its predecessors, has no CDROM or USB for hand outs and activities. Instead we have digitised our LOTE supplement material, activity sheets etc and taken advantage of video and interactive possibilities.
